ZedCam, Overt and Covert Camera Components and Systems

ZedCam has developed a range of extended life battery-powered covert surveillance products with patent-pending technology to increase the battery life from hours to many months. This allows the camera to be rapidly placed and then used many days, weeks or even months later. Installation takes seconds, no wires are showing and no holes need to be drilled to provide mains power. Indoor and outdoor variants are available. The video and sound are transmitted up to 100m outdoors and 40m indoors using standard open radio frequencies. Our products significantly reduce the cost of installation of CCTV – especially useful for temporary setups and where one system may be used in several situations.

The camera can be switched on and off with a remote control, or by triggers such sensing a human or vehicle presence, using a Passive Infra-Red detector, a magnetic switch or pressure mat. We provide either a handheld Personal Video Recorder or an integrated 2-4GB storage device, which may be switched on/off with the camera. The technology is available in component parts or as a complete product. Our IP67 versions can be mounted outdoors.
