Suggested usage for hidden cameras:
- If you are nearby in another room/floor of the same building and are able to switch the covert camera on and off with the remote, you can view the illicit behaviour as it happens, on a Personal Video Recorder (PVR), TV or computer. Say to watch a carer or nanny.
- In most situations, the observer will not be nearby, so a trigger (PIR, magnetic switch or mat) will switch on the hidden camera and wirelessly transmit the video to a computer or our battery powered Digital Video Recorder (DVR). You can attend after being away for hours, days or even weeks and playback the video. This can be used as evidence as the recording is date and time stamped.
- If the problem is outdoors (garden, allotment or animal theft), then ZedCam have a rugged water-proof Digital Video Recorder, with PIR trigger, long battery life and SMS/text option
The camera can be switched on and off with a remote control, or by triggers such sensing a human or vehicle presence, using a Passive Infra-Red detector, a magnetic switch or pressure mat. We provide either a handheld Personal Video Recorder or an integrated 2-8GB storage device, which may be switched on/off with the camera. The technology is available in component parts or as a complete product. Our water-proof versions can be mounted outdoors.
