Waterproof Passive Infra Red (PIR) detector
This PIR-based remote control switches the DVR65 to record. This is achieved the same way as the internal PIR. The internal PIR can be disabled or can be left enabled, which will allow you to cover two areas of interest. Remember that this waterproof PIR should be pointing at an area which can be seen by the DVR65 camera.
The internal battery has a long life of up to several months. The DVR65 can be switched on and off from up to 20 metres away. Software prevents electrical noise from switching on the DVR65 when not required.
The waterproof remote, which is 65x50x35mm, may be placed anywhere outside, preferably somewhere well hidden out of sight and reach of people.
The PIR has a lens and has been selected to detect a human being up to 5-10m away.
